Sunstar Overseas Ltd. Amritsar

This place is located out on G. T. Road in Nizzarpura, which is right across from the Amritsar Engineering College in the Mannawala area. It's a big site compared to some of the smaller shops in town. We have a lot of movement here because of the main road, so there are always trucks coming in and out at all hours. Most of the staff comes from the nearby villages or from Amritsar city. The building is quite large, but inside it is just a lot of work going on, mostly related to processing and packing things for transport. It’s not a quiet office environment; there’s a lot of chatter and the sound of machinery and conveyor belts. We’ve been operating here for years now. The weather gets really tough in the summer, but we keep things moving as best we can. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look fancy for visitors. It’s more about the daily routine of checking the stock and making sure the loaders are doing their job correctly. Being right on the highway makes it easy for transport, though the traffic can be a real headache sometimes. Even though the name sounds big, the people here are just regular folks doing their jobs. You can see the college across the road from our main gate, which is a good landmark if you are visiting for the first time. It is a busy place but we manage.
