Raees Enterprises

Raees Enterprises is located at Shop No.2 on Batala Road. You have to turn into the lane where the Bank of India is to find us. We are quite close to the Shiv Mandir, so we hear the temple bells pretty clearly every morning and evening. It’s a narrow lane and things can get quite jammed up when a delivery truck tries to squeeze through. Most of our day is spent inside the shop handling whatever stock has come in. The walls are lined with stuff and sometimes it feels like we are running out of space to move. It’s a local business and most of the people who come by are from around here. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us doing the heavy lifting and keeping the accounts in order. The floor is concrete and gets cold in the winter, so we usually wear thick slippers. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just the basics to get the work done and keep the customers happy. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait to process things, which can be frustrating. We usually have a small radio playing in the background to keep things from being too quiet. It’s just a regular shop doing regular work every day. We try to keep things organized but with all the boxes, it’s a constant battle to stay neat while being so busy.
