Lavya Agro Industries

We run Lavya Agro Industries from an office in Ganpati Tower, which is room 308. The tower is on Lawrence Road, a place that gets pretty busy during the middle of the day. Unlike a lot of other businesses around here, we are up on the third floor, so we are a bit away from the street noise, though you can still hear the traffic if the window is open. It’s a different vibe being in an office building. We deal with agricultural products, so there is a lot of coordination on the phone and through paperwork. We don't keep the actual products here in the office, obviously, as there isn't any room for that in Ganpati Tower. Most of my day is spent talking to suppliers or checking on how the transport is moving along. Lawrence Road is a good place to be, even if finding a spot for the scooter in the morning can be a struggle. The office itself is small and crowded with files and samples. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep up with the market prices which seem to change every time you blink. It’s not a glamorous life, just sitting behind a desk and making sure the numbers add up and the goods get to where they are supposed to go. We've been here for a while and the routine is pretty set now.
