Smartlife Services is right on Golden Temple Road, which as you can imagine, is a very busy part of Amritsar. We are at number 20, on the first floor, just across from the Punjab & Sind Bank at Chowk Fuwara. Since we are so close to the temple, there is always a stream of people moving about outside, which makes for some good people-watching during breaks. Our office is not huge, but it works for what we do on a daily basis. We handle various services, mostly helping people with their daily administrative needs, some online forms, or travel-related tasks that they find confusing. It is often noisy outside with the rickshaws and tourists, but inside we just focus on the work at hand and ignore the chaos. We have been at this location for a while and have seen the area change quite a bit over the seasons. It is a convenient spot for anyone visiting the center of town. We do not really have a fancy waiting area, just a couple of plastic chairs for whoever is next in line to talk to us. Mostly, we are just busy with the computers and the phone ringing. People drop by while they are out doing their shopping or visiting the bank across the road. It is a practical place for practical things. We don't put on any airs; we just do the jobs that come in.
