Our little shop is right across from the railway station on Railway Link Road. It’s Shop Number 4. Being so close to the station means it gets very dusty and loud with all the trains and rickshaws, but it’s a great place to be if you’re in the travel business. We’ve been here for a while, helping people who just got off a train and need to figure out where to go next. We do a bit of everything—bus tickets, train bookings, and sometimes helping with car rentals if that's what's needed. The shop is small and can get a bit crowded when more than two people are inside. We keep a stack of timetables and a notebook for messages. It’s a basic setup. We aren’t trying to be the biggest agency in town, just a reliable place for the locals and travelers who pass through this part of Amritsar. Most of our day is spent answering the same questions about train timings or the best way to get to the Golden Temple from here. We don't mind it, though. It’s just how things are on the Railway Link Road. You get to meet all sorts of people. We keep the tea kettle going and just handle things as they come. It's a simple way to spend the day, and as long as the trains are running, we'll probably be here at our desks near the station entrance.
