We have been here at the Amritsar Bus Stand for quite some time now. Our spot is right near the Parag Hotel, which is easy to find if you are coming from the railway station side. Most days start early for us because that is when the first buses start rolling in and people need help getting where they are going. It gets busy and noisy with all the traffic and travelers, but that is just how it is around here. We handle a lot of different trips, mostly local stuff but also some longer routes if that is what someone needs. Dealing with the crowd every day means we see all sorts of people. Some are in a huge rush to catch a connection and others are just visiting family nearby. We just try to keep the cars ready and the drivers on time, though the traffic near the station can be a real headache sometimes. It is not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a practical place where we work and talk to customers face to face. We know the roads around Amritsar pretty well, even the narrow ones that get blocked up during the holidays. If you are standing near the bus stand looking for a ride, you will probably see our sign. We just focus on getting the job done without too much fuss. It is hard work but it keeps us going. Most people just want a fair price and a driver who knows where he is going. That is what we do here.
