Shanker Travels

Our office is up in Ganpati Tower, specifically rooms 306, 307, and 308. We share space with Money Mantra on Lawrence Road. Amritsar is a big city, but Lawrence Road is one of those places everyone knows. Shanker Travels has been operating from this building for some time now. It’s a convenient spot because there are lots of shops and banks around. We deal with travel arrangements every day. Whether it's booking a vehicle or sorting out a route, we just get on with it. It isn't a huge operation, but we stay busy. Sometimes the elevators in the tower take a minute, so you might end up taking the stairs. We spend most of our time on the phone or working at our computers. It's mostly quiet work until a group comes in needing a van. We know the area around here like the back of our hand. It is easier to talk in person if you have a complicated trip planned. We don't use fancy brochures. Usually, we just write down the details on a notepad for you. Being in Ganpati Tower makes it easy for people to find us while they are out doing their errands. If you are near Lawrence Road, you can just come up. We keep regular hours, though sometimes we stay a bit later if the work isn't finished. It’s just how we do things here. We have some old chairs in the waiting area, but they are comfortable enough.
