Raj Travel Agency

Our agency is located right near Jaul Hospital in Amritsar. It is a quiet enough spot compared to the main market, which makes it easier for people to pull up and talk to us. Raj Travel Agency started small and it has stayed that way because we like knowing our customers. My cousin and I run the place. We have a small group of cars that we look after. Most of the time, we are busy sorting out trips for families or people visiting the hospital who need a ride home. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the office and a phone line that rings quite a lot. Sometimes we go out and drive ourselves if the regular guys are busy. The road outside can get a bit cramped when the ambulances go by, but it’s part of being in this neighborhood. We try to be honest about the timing because traffic in Amritsar is unpredictable. If we say a car will be there in twenty minutes, we do our best to make it happen. It’s a simple business. We provide rides and we try to be fair with the rates. We’ve lived here all our lives, so we know every corner and turn. The walls in the office could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time between all the bookings. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency in town, just one that people can rely on when they are in a bit of a rush.
