Orient Travels

We've been at Shop Number 10 A on Maqbool Road for a while now. It's a small place near the Income Tax Office here in Amritsar. Most people just drop by when they're planning a trip or need some tickets sorted out. We handle basic travel stuff, like booking train seats or looking up flight prices for families. It's usually just us sitting here with the computers, trying to find the right routes. Sometimes the internet is slow, but we get it done eventually. People know where to find us if they have questions about their passports or just need to get somewhere. Maqbool Road gets busy during the day, so parking is a bit of a gamble, but we're right there. We don't have fancy brochures or anything, just some old maps and our notebooks. If you're walking past the Income Tax Office, you'll see our sign. We started this because we liked talking to people about where they were going. It’s mostly regular customers from the neighborhood who come in for a chat and a ticket. We try to keep things straightforward. No big promises, just looking up what's available and getting the paperwork printed out. It’s a quiet enough job most days, except when everyone wants to travel during the holidays. We just open up in the morning and see who comes through the door. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just helping neighbors get where they need to go without much fuss or bother.
