Multi Hair Salon

You can find us in Amritsar, specifically in the Khalsa Women College Gali. It is a narrow street and we are located right near the Daily Needs shop. Because of the college nearby, there are always people walking past the shop. It makes for a lively atmosphere throughout the day. We have been running Multi Hair Salon for a while and it is a straightforward operation. We have a few chairs and the basic stuff you expect to find in a local barber shop. The walls have some old pictures of different hair styles that nobody really asks for anymore, but we keep them up anyway. It feels more like home that way. The sink in the back leaks a little bit if you turn the tap too far, so we have to be careful with that when washing hair. We don't have any big marketing plans or anything fancy. We just open up, sweep the front, and wait for the first person to walk in. Most of our customers are people who live in the surrounding lanes or work at the shops nearby. We know their families and what’s going on in their lives. Sometimes we share a cup of tea while we work if it is not too busy. It is a slow and steady kind of business. We aren't trying to be the most popular place in the city, just a reliable one for the people in this neighborhood. That is how we like it.
