Mehak Beauty Parlour

Mehak Beauty Parlour is over at Shop No 17/10 on Kennedy Avenue in Amritsar. We are right opposite the Income Tax Office, which is a big landmark that everyone knows. Because of the office across the road, we see a lot of people coming and going all day long. The shop is tucked away in a row of other businesses. We handle things like threading, facials, and hair styling for the women who live around Kennedy Avenue. It is a small shop, so things can get a bit tight when we are busy, but we manage. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it swept, though there is always a bit of thread or hair somewhere. We have a few mirrors and a couple of chairs for the clients. It is a simple setup with no big frills or expensive decorations on the walls. Most of our days are spent doing the same routine, but we like it that way. We know the other shopkeepers nearby and we often share a quick chat when things are slow. Amritsar is a big city but our little corner on Kennedy Avenue feels like its own small world. We don't have a website or anything like that, people just know we are here because they see our sign when they go to the Income Tax Office. It is a steady business and we are happy to be here. We just try to do our job properly.
