Manna General Store

I have been running Manna General Store for quite some time now over at Sawan Nagar in Amritsar. It is just a small place at G No 1, nothing too fancy at all. Most days I am here from early morning until the sun goes down, just making sure the shelves have what people around Shivala Bhaiyan actually need for their homes. Sometimes things get a bit dusty or the boxes are stacked high in the corners, but that is just how it goes when you are busy working alone. People stop by for their daily bits and pieces, maybe a bottle of oil or some soap. It is a quiet life here. I know most of the faces that walk through the door by now. If someone is looking for something specific and I do not have it, I usually try to get it in by the next week. The shop isn't big, but it serves the purpose for the folks living nearby. We do not really do any big advertisements or anything like that. Just the sign outside and the door is always open. Living and working in the same area means you see the same kids growing up and going to school. I try to keep things organized but sometimes when the delivery comes, it gets a bit cluttered for a few hours. That is just part of the job. Stop by if you are passing through, I am usually sitting right by the counter near the entrance.
