Mahajan Departmental Store

Mahajan Departmental Store has been a fixture on Majitha Road for years. We are located in the Main Bazar, not too far from Power Colony in Amritsar. It’s a busy road, and we get a lot of people stopping in on their way home. We try to carry a wide range of products so that people don’t have to make multiple stops. You can find your basic kitchen supplies, some personal care items, and plenty of snacks for the kids. The shop can get a bit cluttered when new stock arrives, but we try to get it on the shelves as fast as we can. We’re just regular people running a business, so we don't use any fancy language or sales tactics. If we have it, we’ll sell it to you at a fair price. If we don’t, we’ll tell you where else you might find it. Being near Power Colony means we have a lot of regular families who rely on us. We appreciate their trust and try to keep things consistent. The shop opens early and closes late, matching the pace of the city. We don’t have a corporate office or anything like that; it’s just the shop floor and a small storeroom in the back. It’s a simple setup that works well for us and our customers. We hope to keep serving the neighborhood for many more years.
