Krish Holidays Regd

We’re based at Shop No 13-A at the Goal Bagh Taxi Stand. It’s directly opposite the Goal Bag Railway Station, so we are right in the thick of things. Krish Holidays Regd has been a fixture here for quite some time. Being so close to the station means we see all kinds of people coming and going at all hours. Our day starts early, usually before the first big trains arrive. We help people with taxis, obviously, but we also do a lot of holiday planning for folks who want to see more than just the station. The office is small and usually smells like tea because we’ve always got a pot going. It’s a busy place with drivers coming in to check their assignments and travelers looking for a way to get to their hotels. We don't have any polished sales pitches. We just tell people the price and the time and get things moving. It’s a very practical way to work. Sometimes the rain makes the taxi stand a bit of a mess, but we keep going regardless. We know the roads around Amritsar like the back of our hands. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, but we enjoy being the first people travelers talk to when they get off the train. It’s not a quiet place, but we like the energy of the station and all the travelers coming through.
