Katyal Travels & Taxi Stand

If you step out of the Amritsar railway station, we are right there across the main GT Road. Katyal Travels & Taxi Stand has been here for years, and it is always noisy with all the traffic and people coming off the trains. We have cars lined up ready to go most of the time. It is a simple setup really. We help people get to where they need to go, whether that is just across town or a long drive out to another district. Sometimes the station gets really crowded and people just want to get into a car and be done with it. We handle those rides and also help with bigger travel plans if someone needs a car for a few days. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place to sit while we figure out which driver is free. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating where the taxis are and making sure passengers find their ride. It is a lot of back and forth. Living and working on GT Road means you see everything. We know the shortcuts to avoid the worst of the jams when the trains let out. It is hard work but we are used to the pace of the station area. People know they can find us here easily since we are so close to the tracks. It is just honest work helping people move around. We are usually around even when it is late at night.
