Kapil Karyana Store

Our place, Kapil Karyana Store, is located at Shop No. 3 in Gurunanak Nagar. We are on Majitha Road in Amritsar, right near the Ninddi Cement Store. It is a busy part of the city. We have been running this shop for some time now. We sell basic groceries and things people need for their kitchens and homes. If you need some flour or maybe some snacks for the kids, we usually have it on the shelf. The shop isn't very large, so we have to use every bit of space we have. We stack things up high and try to remember where the smaller items are kept. The cement store nearby means there are often trucks and workers around, so it is quite a lively spot. We start our day early, making sure the floor is swept and the items are dusted before people start coming in. We don't do much advertising; people just know we are here. Most of our customers are our neighbors from around Gurunanak Nagar. We talk about the weather or the local news while we weigh out their items. It is just a regular karyana store where we work hard every day. We don't have any big corporate goals, just keeping the shop running and making sure people have a place to buy their essentials. It is an honest way to make a living here in Amritsar and we like the people around the road.
