Hastir Kryana Shop

Hastir Kryana Shop is located at Shop No.21 in the Main Bazar of Bharat Nagar. We are right in Amritsar, close to Batala Road. This part of the city is always moving and the bazar is quite loud. Our shop is a traditional kirana store. We have sacks of different grains and big containers for oils. The smell of loose spices is usually the first thing you notice when you walk inside. It is a small space, so we have things stacked quite high on the wooden racks. We have been in this spot for a long time. Most of the people who buy from us are neighbors who have been coming here since they were kids. We don't use any computers or scanners. We just write everything down on a small pad and add it up by hand. It works fine for us. Sometimes the street outside gets blocked by carts or bikes, which makes it a bit hard to get into the shop, but people manage. We open early in the morning and stay until the bazar starts to quiet down at night. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us working here every day. It is hard work but we are used to it. We just provide the basic food items and household goods that every family needs. It is an honest business and we just keep going day by day.
