Harjit General Store & Std Pco

Harjit General Store & Std Pco is located on Fathegarh Churian Road in Amritsar. We are right across from Preet Hospital, which is a very busy spot. Because we are near the hospital, we get a lot of people coming in for different reasons. We have the general store side where we sell things like biscuits, juice, and basic toiletries. Then we also have the PCO part where people can still make calls if they need to. It is an older way of doing things, but some people still find it useful, especially in emergencies near the hospital. The shop is usually full of people waiting or looking for a quick snack. We have to stay organized because the space is small and we have a lot of different items packed in. The noise from the road and the hospital is constant, so it never feels quiet here. We stay open long hours because you never know when someone might need something from across the street. We have seen many people come and go over the years. Some are locals and some are just passing through for the hospital. We don't have a big staff, just us running the place day in and day out. It is hard work but it keeps us busy. We just try to keep the basics in stock and the phone lines working for whoever needs them.
