H2O Salon

Our shop H2O Salon is over in Katra Baghia. If you know Chownk Bijli Pehlwan, we're right there. It’s a busy part of Amritsar. We're quite close to RS Tower, so there’s always people walking around. I’ve lived in this area my whole life. When I opened this salon, I just wanted a decent spot for the local guys and families. The name H2O sounded modern, but the shop itself is pretty traditional. We do haircuts and styling, the basic stuff. Inside, it’s mostly just us working and the radio playing in the background. It gets loud outside with the traffic, but once you’re in the chair, it’s okay. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood over the years. Some shops come and go, but we’ve managed to stay put. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know what we’re doing. We try to keep the place tidy, though sometimes hair gets everywhere when it’s a rush. It’s a regular life. We open up in the morning, sweep the floor, and wait for the first customer. Sometimes it’s a regular who’s been coming for five years, sometimes it’s someone just passing through the Chownk. We don’t make a big fuss. It’s just work. If you’re near RS Tower, you can’t miss us. We’re just a local business trying to do things right for the people living around here and keep the tradition going for as long as we can.
