Amrit Mart

Amrit Mart is located in Sushpal Mani Market in Guru Nanak Pura. We are pretty close to the Punjab National Bank, so that’s usually how people find us. The market is always buzzing with people, especially in the mornings. Our shop isn't the biggest, but we pack a lot into it. We spend our days restocking shelves and helping customers find what they need. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting crates and moving boxes around. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the regulars by their first names. The air in the market can get a bit stuffy in the summer, but we have a couple of fans going to keep things moving. We don't have a big corporate strategy. We just try to have the things people are looking for and keep the prices fair. Sometimes we run out of stuff, and we have to wait for the next delivery truck to show up. That’s just how it goes. We open up early and close once the market starts to quiet down. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but it still says Amrit Mart clear enough. It’s a simple life running a shop in Guru Nanak Pura. We just take it one customer at a time and hope the day goes smoothly. We don't have a big company backing us, just our own hands and time.
