Guru Kirpa General Store

People around here know Guru Kirpa General Store pretty well by now. We are located at Shop No 157 right on Sultanwind Road in the New Azad Nagar area of Amritsar. It is 143002 if you are looking at the postal code. Most mornings start early for us. We pull up the metal shutters and watch the traffic start to pick up on the road outside. New Azad Nagar is a busy place so there is always someone passing by. Sometimes the dust from Sultanwind Road gets inside but that is just part of having a shop here. We have been in this spot for a good while. It is just a regular shop where neighbors stop in to pick up what they need for the day. There is no big sign or fancy lights. Just the number 157 above the door. Most of our customers live nearby in the houses behind the main road. We see the same faces every day which is nice. It is a simple life in this part of Amritsar. We open up, talk to the people coming in, and close when the sun goes down. Nothing complicated about it. The shop is small but it stays full with all kinds of stuff packed onto the shelves. Sometimes it is hard to find things but we know where everything sits. If you are walking down Sultanwind Road you will see us there. It is just a local place for local people.
