Golden Ticket Travels

You can find us at Khorana Centre on Lawrence Road. It’s a busy part of Amritsar, especially near Ritu Wear where there is always someone shopping. We’ve been operating Golden Ticket Travels from this office for a good bit of time now. The building is 2A/1, and it’s usually quite easy to spot once you are in the area. We handle a lot of different travel requests here. Some people want to book a taxi for the day, others are looking for tickets. We aren't a massive company with a call center. It’s just a few desks and a lot of phone calls. Lawrence Road has a lot of traffic in the evenings, so it’s a lively place to work. I spend most of my day checking schedules and talking to drivers. We try to keep our cars clean, though the dust in the city makes that a full-time job. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so we take it personally when things don't go right. We just want to help people get from one place to another. There’s no fancy lobby here, just chairs and some maps on the wall. Sometimes the office gets a bit crowded with drivers waiting for their next assignment, but it keeps things lively. We’ve had the same people working with us for years, so we’re more like a small group of friends than a big company. We don’t have any polished brochures. If you want to know about a trip, we just tell you how it is.
