Gagan Karyana Store

This shop is located right in Gali No. 13 in Guru Ram Das Avenue. We are pretty close to the government school, so there is always some noise from the kids during the day. Gagan Karyana Store is just a basic spot for your kitchen supplies. We have pulses, rice, and the usual stuff you need for cooking a meal at home. It gets a bit dusty sometimes because of the road work nearby, but we try to keep the counters clean. Life in Amritsar moves at its own pace and we just follow along. We don't have a big team or anything, just us working the counter and helping people. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and wait for it to come back. It’s just part of the job here. Most of the regulars live right on this street or the next one over. We know who likes which brand of tea and which kids are allowed to buy candy. It is not a supermarket, just a local karyana place. We don't do deliveries much, people just walk in when they need something. The shelves are a bit old but they hold everything fine for now. Gali No. 13 is where you will find us if you need flour or sugar for dinner tonight. We have been here for some time and the neighborhood has changed a bit, but the store stays the same.
