Ekam Travels

You can find Ekam Travels up on the first floor in Kenedy Avenue. We are located near the Advance Diagnostic Center here in Amritsar. It is a good spot, though you have to walk up the stairs to reach our door. We have been handling travel arrangements from this office for some time now. It is a mix of local trips and longer journeys for people. The desk is usually piled with brochures and some old notebooks we use to keep track of things that have not been digitized yet. We do not have a big team, just a few of us who know the ropes and have been doing this for a long time. Most people who come in are looking for help with trains or buses, and sometimes flights if they are headed further out to see relatives. The room gets a bit of sun in the morning which is nice, though it can get warm in the summer months. We are not into big speeches or fancy talk, we just look at the screen and tell you what is available right now. Sometimes the traffic outside on Kenedy Avenue gets loud and the horns never seem to stop, but that is just part of being in the city. We try to be helpful without making a big fuss about it. If someone needs a ticket booked or a taxi arranged, we do it. It is a basic business but it keeps us busy.
