Dashmesh General Store

Dashmesh General Store is our little place at Shop No-45 in Baba Deep Singh Market. We are right in Amritsar, specifically in the 143002 area. You can find us directly opposite the Gurdwara Shaheed Ganj. Because we are near such a significant landmark, there are always people moving around. We get a lot of pilgrims and locals coming into the shop throughout the day. We sell all the basic things you would expect from a general store. It is not a fancy place, just a simple shop with wooden counters and shelves full of items. We have been here for a long time and have seen the market change over the years. Running a business in Amritsar is good, especially in a spiritual area like this. We start our day early and stay open until late at night. The shop is small, so we have to be smart about how we stack the boxes on the floor. Usually, it is just a couple of us working here. We don't use any corporate language or have big goals; we just want to provide what the community needs. It is a busy spot, and sometimes the street gets very crowded with visitors. We are happy to be a part of this neighborhood. If you are visiting the Gurdwara, you will probably walk right past our door. It is just an honest shop for honest people.
