Citi Travel

We’ve been running Citi Travel from our spot at Sh-4 near the Vigilance Office for quite a while now. It’s right there at District Chowk on Ajnala Road, which stays pretty busy most of the day. If you live around here, you probably know the area well. We mostly spend our time dealing with transport stuff and making sure people get where they need to go without too much hassle. It’s just a small office where we handle the paperwork and take calls. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the traffic outside, but that’s just how it is in Amritsar. We aren't a big fancy company with a lot of staff. It is usually just a couple of us here making sure the cars are ready or the tickets are sorted out properly. People stop by when they’re planning a trip or just need to ask about prices for a van or a car. We try to keep things straightforward. There’s no point in making travel more complicated than it already is. Most of our day is spent looking at schedules and talking to drivers. It’s basic work, really. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but the way we handle things hasn't changed much. We just open up the shop, get the tea going, and start working on whatever bookings came in. It can be tiring sometimes when the phone doesn't stop, but we just keep at it. It is what we know how to do.
