Bagga Ji Travels

We are over here in the 143002 area of Amritsar. It’s a travel business, mostly just keeping cars on the road and making sure people get where they need to go. It isn't always easy with the traffic in this city. If you’ve ever driven through the narrow lanes here, you know what I mean. Bagga Ji Travels has been around for some time. We don't have a big fancy office with glass walls, just a place to manage the bookings. Sometimes it’s a family wanting to go to a wedding, other times it is just one person needing a ride to the airport. We try to keep the cars clean, but with the dust and the rain, it’s a constant job. My phone rings at odd hours sometimes. That is just part of the travel line. We know the roads around here pretty well, even the shortcuts that aren't on the maps. Amritsar has changed a lot, more hotels and more people, but the way we work stays the same. We just focus on the next trip. It's a lot of talking to drivers and checking the schedule. I think being local helps because we know the shortcuts. It's just a regular local business trying to stay busy. We don't do much advertising, mostly people just hear about us through word of mouth. It's hard work but it keeps us going throughout the year.
