Amarjit General Store

Amarjit General Store is located right at Shop No 86 on Fatehgarh Churian Road. We are quite close to Dr Brahmdas Clinic near Rattan Singh Chowk, so a lot of people stop by after seeing the doctor. It is a busy part of Amritsar. We sell all sorts of general stuff like soap, shampoo, snacks, and basic kitchen supplies. The shop isn't very large, so we have to stack things high on the shelves. Sometimes it looks a bit crowded in here, but we know where everything is kept. I’ve been working here a long time now. We see the same faces every week, mostly families living in the nearby lanes. Dealing with the daily crowd keeps us on our feet. We don’t have any fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just a simple shop where you get what you need and go home. In the evenings, it gets pretty hectic when everyone is returning from work and wants to pick up bread or milk. We try our best to keep everything in stock, but sometimes things sell out faster than we expect. It’s a straightforward business, no big secrets.
