We are situated on Batala Road, near Navjot School and right across from the Punjab National Bank. You can also find our details on our website, gorbt.in, though we spend more time in the physical office than online. The location is quite convenient because of the bank and the school nearby, so the street is always full of life. Our office is a small place where we keep the files and the computer. There is often the sound of school kids playing nearby or the heavy traffic from Batala Road. We have a few chairs for visitors, though most people just call us to fix a trip. We handle various types of travel, whether it’s a quick drop-off or a longer tour. The desk is usually a bit cluttered with pens and half-finished cups of tea. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who manage the daily tasks of booking and checking the vehicles. Sometimes the printer jams when we are trying to print out a receipt, which can be a bit annoying, but we fix it and move on. It’s a very grounded way of working. We’ve been in this part of Amritsar for some time and we know the shortcuts and the best times to avoid the heavy traffic. It’s just a regular local travel shop doing its thing every day for the people here.
