St Mary High School

We are located right on Lathi Road here in Amreli. It is a pretty straightforward place. The school has been around for some time now and most people in the neighborhood know the building. It is not some fancy modern structure but it does the job for the kids. We have the usual stuff like desks, blackboards, and a small area where they play during the breaks. Usually, the mornings are quite busy when the parents come to drop everyone off. You can hear the noise from the street sometimes, but once the first bell rings, things settle down a bit. We just go about our daily business of teaching and making sure the students are where they need to be. There are some old trees near the entrance that give a bit of shade when it gets really hot in the afternoon. The staff room is always a bit cluttered with papers and tea cups, which is how most schools probably look. We don’t have any big slogans or anything like that hanging everywhere. It is just a school where children come to learn their subjects and pass their exams so they can move on to the next thing in life. Amreli is a decent town to be in and being on the main road makes it easy for the buses to get in and out. We keep the gates shut during class hours to keep it safe. That is pretty much it.
