Mkc Girls High School

Our school is on Dhari Road in a town called Chalala. It is a high school specifically for girls. Being in the Amreli district, we get students from the town and also from the surrounding rural spots. The address is A-01, right on the main road. It’s an old building but it serves its purpose. We have a lot of students, so the corridors are always full of life during the breaks. Since it’s a girls' school, the atmosphere is a bit different. We try to provide a space where they feel comfortable to study and talk. We have the usual subjects like math, social studies, and science. The teachers are mostly women who have been working here for years. They know the challenges the girls face in this area. We have a small courtyard where we do the morning assembly. It can get quite windy being in this part of Gujarat. We don't have high-tech gadgets in every room. We mostly use the blackboard and textbooks. The girls are hardworking, and many of them want to go to college after finishing here. We help them with their forms and exams as much as we can. It’s a practical place. We don't have a lot of extra money for decorations. We just focus on getting the lessons done. It’s a community school through and through, and we take pride in seeing these girls succeed in their own way without any fancy distractions.
