You’ll find us on Liliya Road in the town of Liliya, which is part of the Amreli district. Shri M M Yagnik High School has been here for years and years. It’s one of those places that everyone in town knows because they probably went here themselves or have a cousin who did. The building is old-fashioned, with thick walls and big wooden doors. It feels very grounded. When you walk in, you can smell the old paper and the chalk. It’s a busy road outside, especially during market days when everyone is coming into town from the surrounding villages. We have a lot of students who travel quite a distance to get here, so the mornings are always a bit of a rush. We don't have any of those modern glass partitions or carpeted floors. Everything is concrete and wood. It’s easy to clean and it lasts. The courtyard in the middle is where everyone gathers for the morning assembly. It gets quite hot under the sun, but we try to keep it brief. We don’t have a big staff, just enough to cover the classes and keep things running. It’s a humble place, honestly. We aren't trying to impress anyone with flashy signs or expensive ads. We just want to make sure the kids from around Amreli get their high school education without any fuss or unnecessary drama. It’s been our way for a long time now.
