Shri Post Basic High School

So, Shri Post Basic High School is tucked away in Babapur, which is a small area over in Amreli. If you know the 365610 pin code area, you probably know where we are. It is a very rural setting, so things move a bit slower around here compared to the big cities. We deal with high school students who come in from all the nearby villages. The school day usually revolves around the local bus schedule because that is how most of the kids get here. We have some trees in the courtyard where students hang out during their lunch breaks to stay out of the sun. Amreli can get really hot, so those trees are pretty important to us. The classrooms are simple, with old wooden benches and chalkboards that have been used thousands of times. We don't really put on any airs about being a top-tier institution; we are just a local school doing our best for the kids in Babapur. There is always some paperwork to do or a leaky tap that needs fixing, just like any other old building. You will hear the bell ringing every forty-five minutes or so, and that’s pretty much the soundtrack of our lives here. We have a small staff who all know each other well, and we just keep the place going year after year without making much of a fuss about it. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to help these kids get their diplomas before they head back home.
