Adrash School

If you go out towards Pipaliya Dhundhiy in Amreli, you’ll find where we are. Adrash School is right there in the Dhundhia-Pipaliya area. It is a local school through and through. We don't have a lot of fancy gadgets or expensive equipment in our classrooms. Most of what we do involves old-fashioned teaching with books, paper, and pens. The school is a bit out of the way, which makes it feel like its own little community. We see the same faces every morning when the gate opens. The kids come from all around the 365480 zip code. Some of them have quite a long walk to get here every day. We keep the building open and ready for them. There’s always some dust on the floor because of the wind blowing across the open fields, but we sweep it out every morning before classes start. Teachers here work very hard. They don't have teaching assistants or high-tech science labs to use. They just have their own knowledge and their students in front of them. It's a busy environment during the day. You can hear the sounds of children reciting their lessons from the road if you are passing by. We have a playground that’s mostly just dirt and rocks, but the kids don't seem to care. They play cricket or tag whenever they get a break from their studies. It’s a simple life for us here. We don't make big promises to anyone. We just provide a place for the kids in this part of Amreli to learn.
