If you head over to Village Lohramau and look for House Number 385, that’s where we are. Someshwaram Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited is just a group of us from around here trying to do better with our agriculture. We don't have a big fancy storefront. It’s just a house in the village where we organize our work. Life in Lohramau revolves around the seasons, so our work does too. We spend a lot of time talking about seeds and how the soil is doing this year. It’s honest, hard work. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the country. We just want to make sure the people in our village can sell their grain and vegetables for a price that lets them keep their homes. Sometimes the logistics are a headache. Getting trucks to come out to the post area can be tricky. But we manage. We aren't corporate people. We are just farmers who realized that working as a group is better than working alone. We don't have any polished speeches. We just tell it like it is. If the crop is bad, we say it’s bad. If it’s good, we work twice as hard to get it moved. It’s a simple cycle. We wake up early, go to the fields, and come back to the village to plan the next step. It is just a few of us trying to make a living from the land we love.
