Raimalpur Farmer Producer Company

Raimalpur Farmer Producer Company is based out of Sonawan. Specifically, we use a space at Chillau Verma’s place in Dukhchor Vermaraimalpur. It’s a bit of a long name for a small village, but that is where we are. We are just a bunch of local farmers from this part of Uttar Pradesh. The whole idea was to get more organized. Farming on your own is tough, and there is a lot of paperwork that comes with being a real company, but we are learning as we go. We aren’t experts in business, but we know our way around a field. The office, if you can call it that, is just a place to keep the records and meet up after a long day in the sun. We deal with whatever crops are in season—mostly wheat and rice like everyone else around here. Sometimes we talk about getting better equipment, but for now, it’s mostly about helping each other out. There are no polished speeches or big promises here. We just want to make sure the farmers in Raimalpur get a fair shake. Life in the village moves at its own pace. Some days are slow, and some days everyone is working until dark.
