New Mewat Auto Electrics is right by the Bus Stand on Vutiana Road in Barodameo. It’s a busy spot because of all the traffic. You can hear the buses pulling in and out all day long. We deal with a lot of wiring and electrical issues for cars and trucks. It’s a lot of hands-on work, getting under the hood or looking at a dashboard that’s stopped working. Sometimes it’s just a blown fuse, other times it’s a total mess of wires that someone else tried to fix and failed. We don't have a big waiting room or anything. People usually just stand around or go get a tea nearby while we look at their vehicle. Barodameo gets quite dusty, so the shop floor needs sweeping pretty much every hour. We’ve got tools scattered around, but we know where everything is. Being near the Bus Stand means we get a lot of people who are in a hurry. We just do the work as fast as we can without rushing the important bits. It’s just me and a couple of other guys mostly. We’ve seen all sorts of old vehicles that barely run. New Mewat Auto Electrics is just a local shop on Vutiana Road trying to keep things moving. We don't talk much, just focus on the wires and the batteries. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on at home.
