Bana Battery Works is located where Rajgarh Road and Malakhera Road meet in Bara. It's a spot that most people in the area recognize because we've been sitting here on the corner for quite some time. We deal with all sorts of batteries—cars, tractors, and the ones people use at home. The shop is filled with that heavy smell of lead and acid, which you get used to after a while. We spend our days testing cells and charging up units that have gone flat. It’s a lot of lifting, so it keeps us moving. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just open the doors in the morning and see who comes in. Sometimes it's a farmer whose tractor won't start, or a neighbor whose car battery died in the cold. We do our best to help them out without making a big production of it. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a plain building with some signs, but inside we have the gear needed to get things running again. It's a honest way to earn a living here in Bara. We just take it one customer at a time. No fancy sales pitches, just checking the water levels and the voltage until the job is done right.
