You can find SRS Enterprises right at Veer Chowk, Veer Sawarkar Nagar 87. Being near the chowk means it’s always loud outside with the traffic and people moving around. It’s a busy spot, which is good for business but can be a headache when we’re trying to load the small delivery rickshaws. We handle a lot of different supplies and materials here. The shop is filled with shelves that reach up to the ceiling, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for. We aren't fancy people. We wear work clothes and don't mind getting our hands dirty while moving inventory. The office part is just a desk in the back where the ledgers stay. We like being in Veer Sawarkar Nagar because we’re close to everything. Most of the people who come in are regulars from the neighborhood or small contractors who need something quickly. We don't have a big philosophy or a list of goals on the wall. We just want to make sure we have the right stock and that we treat people fairly when they walk in. It’s a lot of manual counting and moving things around to make space for new arrivals. At the end of the day, we just lock up the shop and head home like everyone else in the market.
