Melcon

Melcon is situated at F 90 in the Mia Desula area. It’s a quiet corner compared to some of the bigger industrial parks, but there is still plenty of work to go around. Our building is a simple one, with a heavy metal door and concrete floors. Inside, we have our workstations set up in a line. We don't have any fancy air conditioning or carpets. In the summer, we just use big fans to keep the air moving. The work we do at F 90 is mostly manual, so we are on our feet most of the day. We have a small desk near the front for keeping track of the orders and the mail. Most of us live nearby, so we walk or cycle to work. The Desula part of Mia has a lot of small businesses like ours. We all know each other and sometimes trade parts or help out with a broken machine. It’s a good community of workers. We don't really have a big story about why we started, we just needed a place to work and this unit was available. Since then, we've just been doing our thing. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but that doesn't affect the work we do. We prefer to spend our time getting the orders ready. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place.
