Lakshmi Engineering & Machine Works

You can find Lakshmi Engineering & Machine Works at H-1/1119 in the RIICO Industrial Area Phase 2. This is a place where we actually make things and the sound of metal hitting metal is something you hear all day long. The industrial area is quite big and it can be easy to get lost if you don't know the plot numbers well. Our workshop has big heavy doors and high ceilings to keep the air moving because it gets incredibly hot when the machines are running full speed. We do a lot of repair work on industrial parts and sometimes we manufacture things from scratch depending on what is needed. It is a gritty environment with oil on the machines and metal shavings on the floor. We wear heavy shoes and old clothes because everything gets ruined by the end of the day anyway. We have a small area partitioned off where we keep the drawings and the tea kettle. It is not a place for people who like to stay clean or sit in air conditioning all day. We take pride in the fact that we can fix things that other people might just throw away. The work is hard and the hours are long but it is what we know. We have been in Phase 2 for many years and have seen many other shops come and go.
