Zilla Parishad High School Kondapur

We are located in the Dodhpur area, specifically at 4/928 in Civil Lines, Aligarh. Zilla Parishad High School Kondapur is a regular government school that serves this part of the city. Being in Civil Lines means we are in a fairly established neighborhood with a lot of history. The school building has been around for a while, and you can tell by the way the stairs are worn down in the middle from thousands of feet. We have students coming in from different backgrounds, all mixed together in the classrooms. It’s a high school, so things get a bit more serious with the older kids preparing for their board exams. The teachers spend a lot of time at their desks with piles of notebooks to check. We don't have any flashy marketing or big advertisements around town. Most people find out about us because their older siblings came here or they live just a few streets away. The classrooms have high ceilings and heavy wooden doors that sometimes creak in the wind. When the weather gets really hot in the afternoons, we just open all the windows and hope for a little breeze to come through. It’s a very functional place for learning. We focus on the daily lessons, making sure the attendance is taken and the school bells ring on time. There’s a bit of a yard where the kids hang out, though it’s mostly dirt and some patchy grass during the dry season.
