S K D Senior Secondary School

If you head down Gaumat Bajana Road in Khair, you’ll come across S K D Senior Secondary School. We are located in the 202138 area of Aligarh. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city, which gives us a bit more space. The school is quite a large building, and we have students coming in from all the nearby villages. It gets very busy in the mornings when the buses and cycles arrive. We’ve been here for quite a while, so the locals know the name well. The rooms are big and have plenty of light, which is good for studying. We don’t have any polished corporate brochures or high-end advertisements. Most of our students are here because their older brothers or sisters came here too. It’s a very family-oriented place. The staff room is always full of teachers planning their next class or sharing a snack. We deal with the usual school stuff—leaky taps sometimes, or needing more chalk for the boards. It’s a real, living place. Aligarh can be quite dusty, especially out on Gaumat Bajana Road, but we try to keep the place tidy. There is no grand mission statement on the wall, just a commitment to getting the kids through their senior secondary years. We work hard, the kids study hard, and that’s pretty much the whole story. It’s a practical, no-nonsense school for the people of Khair and it’s just how we do things here every day.
