Vidya Niketan Inter College

We are located out in Vill-Bahanpur, just off the main road heading into Etah. It is a quiet spot most of the time, except when the students arrive at Vidya Niketan Inter College in the morning. The building is not anything fancy, just a solid place where we get the work done every day. You can see the fields from the back windows and the air is usually pretty clear out here. Most of us who work here have been around this area our whole lives, so we know the families and the people living nearby. We see the kids walking up the path every morning and it just feels like part of the village routine. Inside, the rooms are pretty standard with wooden benches and old blackboards. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when classes change over, but that is just how a school feels. We try to keep things organized, but things get messy sometimes like any real place. The fans hum during the hot months and we just keep going with the lessons. It is about getting through the day and making sure the students are doing what they are supposed to. People around 207001 know where we are. We do not have a big shiny sign, just the name on the front. We open the gates early, sweep the hallways, and get to it. There is usually someone in the small office if a neighbor or parent stops by to talk. It is just a local school for the community.
