Milkyway Convent School

Down on Road No-1 in Iqra Colony, you’ll find our school. Aligarh can be quite a dusty place, especially when the wind picks up in the afternoons. We have kids from all around the neighborhood coming here every morning. The gates open early, and you can hear the sound of school bags clanking and children laughing. It’s a local school, nothing too grand. Our classrooms have the basic stuff—blackboards, wooden benches, and some drawings the kids made hanging up. The 202001 area is a busy part of town, so there is always a bit of traffic outside. Teachers here are usually busy grading papers or helping a student who forgot their lunch. We try to keep things organized, but with so many children, it’s always a little bit of a scramble. The playground isn't huge, but it gets the job done during recess. We’ve seen many groups of students pass through over the years. Some of them come back to say hello when they are older. It’s just a regular place where learning happens every day. We don't have big fancy advertisements. Most people just know us because we’ve been here in Iqra Colony for a good while. It feels like a community. Usually, the bell rings at the end of the day and there's a big rush to get home.
