About Jeevan Jyoti Public School – Education in Aligarh
You can find us on Palsera Road in Jattari, which is part of the Aligarh district. The school sits along a stretch of road that gets quite a lot of tractors and bikes passing through. It’s a very local atmosphere here. Many of our students come from the nearby farms and small houses in Jattari. We have a gated area where the children gather for the morning prayer before they head into their rooms. The building is painted a simple color and we try to keep the garden at the front looking decent, though the goats sometimes get in from the road. Our daily routine is pretty fixed. The bell rings, the kids go to class, and the teachers start their work. We don't have air conditioning or anything like that, just the regular ceiling fans and open windows to let the breeze in. It’s an honest way to run a school. The parents often stop by to talk about how their kids are doing, and we usually have a cup of tea ready for them. We use old-fashioned blackboards mostly because they work best for us. The office is small and usually has a stack of notebooks waiting to be checked. We don't use much technology here, just the basics that are needed for teaching. It’s a quiet place except when the kids are out for recess, then it is a bit of a madhouse for a while.
