Maviya Exports

Maviya Exports is located on Afganan Street, which is in the Jainganj area of Karala. It is an older part of town with narrow streets that can be a bit of a challenge to navigate if you have a big vehicle. The post office is in Jainganj, which is handy for us when we have to deal with mail. We have been on Afganan Street for quite some time now. The building is old and has a lot of character, though it requires a bit of maintenance here and there. Inside Maviya Exports, it feels a bit cooler than it does out on the street because of the thick walls. We have our desks set up in the main room and there’s always a stack of ledgers or papers that need looking at. The neighbors on Afganan Street are mostly other small businesses or families who have lived here for generations. You hear children playing outside sometimes and the sound of bicycles going by. It’s a community feel. We don't really have a big sign out front, just the name Maviya Exports so people know they have the right place. Our daily routine is pretty set. We open up early, check what needs to be sent out, and talk to the people who drop by. Karala can be very humid, so we usually have the windows open to let some air move through. It’s a simple setup for a regular workday.
