Islamic Mission School

Our school is located at 2E, Fort Enclave, right here in Aligarh. It’s a place that feels very much like part of the neighborhood. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while now. It’s not a fancy setup. We have the classrooms, a small office, and a bit of space where the kids can gather. Mornings start with the sound of many feet on the stairs. We try to keep things orderly, but with so many children, there's always a bit of chaos. Aligarh can be quite a busy city, so inside the school walls, we try to maintain a bit of a focused atmosphere. The teachers here are just regular people who care about getting the lessons finished. We use a lot of paper and pencils, and the blackboards are always covered in dust by noon. We don't use a lot of fancy technology. It’s mostly just books and talking. During the breaks, the courtyard gets very loud. You can hear the kids playing and shouting from the street. We know most of the families who send their children here. It’s a tight-knit community in Fort Enclave. Sometimes we have to fix a broken desk or paint a wall that’s peeling. We just do it ourselves or find someone local to help. It’s a practical place, and we’re just here to make sure the school day goes as planned. No one here is looking for anything grand.
