T K G has been running out of Oachira in Kollam for a good bit of time now. Our place is located at 73/4, which isn't very hard to spot if you know the area well. It is a local operation, and there is nothing too flashy about it. We mostly handle things for the folks living around here and the people coming in from the nearby villages. The weather in Kollam can get pretty hot sometimes, but we stay busy regardless of that. It started as a small idea and just grew into a daily routine for all of us. We have a small staff, and we all pretty much do a bit of everything during the day. There isn't a lot of hierarchy or formal stuff going on. If a customer walks in, whoever is free helps them out. We get a lot of foot traffic because of where we are located in Oachira. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty from the traffic on the road, but we try to keep it decent for visitors. We don't spend money on big posters or radio spots. Most people know we are here because they have lived in this part of Kollam their whole lives. We just keep our heads down and focus on what needs to happen today. Tomorrow will be the same thing. It is a simple way to run a business, but it works for us. We like the pace of life here. It is not rushed.
