Saraswathy College

Saraswathy College is situated in Kodamthuruth, within the Kuthathiathod area of Cherthala. This part of Kerala 688538 is quite green and has a very local, quiet feel to it. The college building itself is a simple structure that fits right into the surroundings. We have been a part of the Cherthala community for some time. Students come from nearby villages to attend their classes here. The walk to the college is often quite nice, especially after the rain when everything looks fresh. Inside, the classrooms are basic with wooden furniture and open windows to let the breeze in. We don't have much in the way of high-tech equipment, just the essentials for teaching. The office is usually the busiest part of the building, with people coming in to sign papers or ask questions. We spend our days following the academic calendar and making sure the students have what they need for their studies. It is a very down-to-earth place where everyone knows each other's names. Sometimes we have small gatherings in the courtyard. The address is quite a mouthful if you aren't from around here, but for the locals, it is just the college down the road. We don't try to be anything fancy. It is just a place for learning in a quiet corner of Kerala. The pace of life here is a bit slower, and that reflects in how we run things at Saraswathy College. The walk from the main gate to the office takes just a minute, and you can see the trees all around.
